...Jim Sterk won't (and probably shouldn't) put up a win total that Kim Anderson has to achieve to be retained. Fortunately, your friend AlleyCat is happy to do so.
20+ wins: This would be a remarkable season and I am prepared to take back everything negative I have ever said about Kim Anderson and can't wait to see how this young and exciting team develops.
16-19 wins: Still a great season by our expectation level. This would include around a .500 SEC record and Kim Anderson is back for year four. Exciting young team on the come, with an NCAA shot in year four on the table.
13-15 wins: This is where the decision gets hard. It's year three after all. Is winning 14 games enough of an expectation for a coach that has all of his own players? A lot would depend on how competitive the team is against legit SEC talent. If you bring him back for year four there almost certainly has to be a "win or be gone" mandate.
10-12 wins: Sorry coach Anderson, you were a great player for us, but it's time to move in a different direction. This win total would almost mean a third consecutive last place finish in the SEC. That's unacceptable.
Under 10 wins: GTFO.
