person could have as to why this year will be any different than the last 2 years. We've seen Kim lose with highly rated players. We've seen Kim lose with lowly rated players. We've seen Kim lose players Frank Haith recruited. We've seen Kim lose with players he recruited. We've seen Kim get out-recruited by almost every SEC coach. We've seen Kim get out-coached by almost every SEC coach. Literally the only hope anyone can have at this point is that the fact that these players are all Kim's guys and that will somehow magically make a difference.
Most programs base their hopes for success on talent of their players. KAers base their hopes on things that can't be measured and rarely make a huge difference such as "buy-in" and "teamwork". Those things don't magically make you substantially better. They give an incremental bump to already good teams. They aren't enough to make a bad team become an average team.
