that is booming (just announced the next major expansion),

Centene's massive Bilkion dollar expansion in Clayton along with 5 other Tower development on the way in addition to that doubling Clayton's skyline!

World Wide Technologies HQ going up at Westport Plaza & the ongoing massive expansion of Edward Jones Campus there. Westport Plaza's redevelopment itself
going on at the same time.

The just announce 1 Billion dollars worth of development just east of Cortex in Midtown around SLU's campus, in addition to the $500 million current new SLU/SSM hospital. Part of the newly announced billon dollar development project will redevelop areas
south of I64/40 on S. Grand to make the campus more contiguous to the SLU hospital district to the campus.

Matheny's & Dan Buck's just announced agreement with Chesterfield to build the largest indoor (dome) amateur sports facility in the country with outdoor playing venues too for Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball, 200+ room hotel, restaurants, etc, etc. Breaking ground next year next to Chesterfield Athletic Association's fields in the Valley.

New downtown skyline addition & development that I posted above!

Oh & as far as Scottrade. Great company the will spin off many great, highly valued employees, many of whom will form new ventures & companies, some in the Financial Services Industry. Regardless, STL will still be the 2nd largest Financial Brokerage Services Market/City in the country behind only Wall St thanks to other much more massive industry leaders headquartered there!

It's what happens in markets with a lot of long time, highly successful companies, particularly ones that have large mix of Privarely Owned ones!

This doesn't happen in small, immature markets like kc that don't even have Fortune 500 Company!

As an aside, highly doubtful & looking that way increasingly that Bauer/Monsanto will get regulatory approval & moreso from the European side. In any case, that deal is different from others & a fantastic, great thing for STL, as it will move other Nkrth American HQ's to STL, while maintaining a Global HQ division of Monsanto in the #1 Bio & Agri Science Market in the US!

Did I mention all the executives & top paid personnel from SABMiller looking for Real estate in STL currently :) STL is invented their beers now too!

Sounds so horrible, smh!
