How much more can St. Louis take? McDonnell Douglas, Anheuser-Busch, Monsanto, TWA, May Dept. Stores, Sigma Aldrich, Charter, AG Edwards, Isle of Capri Casinos, South Western Bell, Ralston Purina, Ralcorp, the Rams, all use to call St. Louis home! The SEC needs to step in and and squash these takeover/mergers or I'm afraid, St. Louis will become Detroit with an Arch!

You left off a big one: Missouri Pacific. MoPac's successor, Union Pacific, considered moving its HQ to St. Louis, but after Mayor Schoemel screwed them out of a few hundred mil for that failed strip mall east of McCausland on Manchester, and after the state of Nebraska offered them huge tax incentives, they packed up the MoPac and its employees and off to Omaha they went! Tip: voting for Democrats over and over and you get this thing called "St. Louis"

yes, very sad. Monsanto, AB, Scottrade. Mallinckrodt selling part of their business and relocating specialty drugs to the east coast. Rams. Sigma Aldrich. 2 or 3 energy companies. This sucks
