a national seed and host a first round in the NCAA.
Despite having a #16 RPI this week, there are a number of teams below us who will almost certainly be seeded ahead of us, including Penn State, Ohio State, and Kansas. And maybe Purdue, Utah, Washington State, Florida State, and USC.
We pretty much have to sweep the 6 games we have left against teams we are heavily favored against, then go at least 2-1 against TAMU, Kentucky, and Florida, to even have a shot. That would guarantee us at least a tie for the SEC title, but I'm afraid that doesn't mean a lot in the college volleyball world when our record and strength of schedule is measured up against teams from the BIG and PAC 12 that we will be fighting against to get a 15 or 16 national seed.
