the election, the media and the government being 'rigged', I think it's pretty clear that they weren't being given equal treatment, nor even equal physical facilities.

At the first debate Trump's microphone was set too low and it was not working correctly. He had to bend over to speak into it while Hillary had been given a special step stool to stand on to make it appear she was slightly taller than Donald.

His microphone was fine for the TV viewers but was apparently significantly lower than hers in the studio and the audience had difficulty hearing him and it confused him a bit as he couldn't hear himself as loud and could tell the audience wasn't hearing him clearly. He didn't know it was working ok for the TV audience.

In the first debate her podium also had the special setup and also had the crews sneaking up there to take things out afterwards. See the video and the attendant one of the first debate.
