every kid for weapons on the way in.

If a kid shows up with zero respect for themselves, others, adults, authority in general and a sense of right and wrong in a classroom, you're going to get nowhere, fast. And no amount of money, words, good intentions or new laws is going to change that. Never has, never will.

There is zero chance in that environment the next astronaut or heart surgeon is going to appear.
