Simply put there is no rational justification that can be legitimately given for hiring him if that was your question.
A new coach, if given his preference is going to need to considerably turn over our roster because from a talent standpoint this is the lowest by a considerable margin that MU has been in my lifetime. That said, given the turnover Kim has caused the next coach will have APR restrictions most likely that will hamper that effort.
I think what you are asking is if we hire a competent coach and he begins to get better effort and execution and does a better job preparing and in game tactics would that make Kim look better? That was basically the only aspect going in it was presumed he would be adequate to good at, we didn't hire him because of his recruiting prowess and ability to put together a roster.
