Do you realize that blacks used to support the Republican Party in large numbers in the early 20th century. That's primarily due to Lincoln freeing the slaves. Do you also realize that whites almost uniformly supported the Democratic Party in the South due to the Union's desire to destroy the immoral institution of slavery.

Then it was LBJ who turned the tide of whites against the Democratic Party for supporting the end to Jim Crow and discrimination. By that time, blacks shifted to the Democratic Party and started the move of Southern whites to the Republican Party.

Identity politics has been used quite effectively by both political parties. You're naive if you don't see that.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
