Don't know if Russia is doing the hacks, but Russians really hate the Clintons.
The 1990s were an absolute nightmare for Russia. Yeltsen facilitated the looting of Russia by adopting the neoliberal policies required by the IMF and the USG (IMF is controlled by USG) combined with a green light to western interests to engage in rampant looting. Death rates and alcoholism soared. Average person was reduced to poverty. State assets were sold at absurdly low prices in thouroghly corrupt transactions (i.e. the "privatization" con.) Oligarphs made billions. Bill was right in the middle of the looting. Just some context.
