I've coached Select and AAU for over 15 years. 95% of our games we shot nearly twice the amount of foul shots as our opponents. There is a reason for this. I'm obsessed with high % shots. We pound it down low like no other shot counts, we swing it constantly and drive the hell out of the ball. We are constantly in attack mode. We average around 8 shots per game from behind the three point line. Our opponents normally shoot at least 20 because we play pack line on defense. All cutters are smashed and we are always in help position. See the difference? There's no such thing as a home game. We see new officials constantly. If they tried to keep the foul count close, that would be crooked officiating. When the foul count is lopsided, this is almost always the case. You're welcome for the free education on this topic.
