How does the 'decided officiating advantage' work?
You say we are the 'beneficiaries of multiple gifted games', do you not? So why aren't we 'allowed' to win EVERY game? To date, only one KU team (2002) has gone undefeated in Big 12 play. What is the explanation for the handful of games that we've lost in Big 12 play each season other than that? Are they 'pre-determined' before the season starts? Do we have any say in the matter? If so, how can any of the games we lost to your team or to your crybaby country cousins in Manhattan be explained?
You say the Big 12 'goes to great lengths to ensure' we win at least a share of the Big 12, correct? Great lengths? Why does the Big 12 resort to half measures? What is the explanation for what happened in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2004 when the record shows it was someone other than us that claimed the regular season championship?
I'm sorry, it just doesn't make sense.
What other college basketball teams currently are, or have been, given a similar 'decided officiating advantage' by their conference? Or are we the only ones?
Why does this practice continue to be ignored by the national media all these years?
Pleased explain it to me. And don't spare a single detail.
