1) People donate to Trump Foundation so that Trump Foundation can distribute to worthy charities.
2) Trump Foundation distributes donations to charities.


This is how foundations work. This is exactly what happened. Nobody was deceived. Everyone's donations went to a good cause as intended. You need to blame the plaintiff lawyers for allowing what Trump was going to do ANYWAY as a way of settling a lawsuit.
