statement. He is 100% correct. The suspect WILL have a trial. The suspect WILL be provided a lawyer, great or not who knows. This is most likely a capital case so if convicted he WILL get automatic appeals. If sentenced to death he will most likely get the needle which is much less harsh than many sentences used in the middle east.

Other than the fact that Trump said it what exactly is your issue with this statement?
