" ... the disastrous Bill Self era."
The Bill Self era at KU spans the years 2004 to 2016. Is that what you'r referring to?
Hmmmm.
During that same period of time (13 seasons) the Missouri basketball team has won a total (that's TOTAL) of four NCAA Tournament games ... has three first round losses in the NCAA Tournament ... two first round losses in the NIT ... eight seasons where it was not deemed good enough to receive an invitation to participate in the NCAA Tournament ... five seasons where it was not deemed good enough to appear in the NCAA Tournament OR the NIT ... was 10-25 in head-to-head competition against Bill Self's teams ... were never champions of their league ... and have been on NCAA probation two different times.
So if the Bill Self era at KU is 'disastrous', what adjectives do you think would apply to what went on during the Quin Snyder/Mike Anderson/Frank Haith/Kim Anderson eras at 'ol mizzou?
I mean, would decorum allow for ANY to apply?
Oh, and when The Sporting News sat down, just last year, to list their top cbb programs since the turn of this century, here's what they said --

Doesn't that seem to contradict your assessment? 'Faulty weighing'?
Your thoughts?
