Of course, neither country is beholden to the other, but recognize that they need each other to fight ISIS and radical terrorism. If we could somehow force some Saudi princes to pay damages, there are various economic and military options that they can use to hurt us.

If we could do it alone and not worry about collateral damage, then we wouldn't need their help and could just send in ground troops and nuke where needed.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
