No, I don't think our bench is better than others.

That's not what depth is.

I think the drop-off from our starters to the next five could be relatively small. That is in part because the starters aren't great, but it nonetheless will would allow us to play a lot of guys and withstand injuries and foul trouble and avoid being worn down as the game/season progresses.

The point is not that our bench will beat opposing benches. The point is that our bench may allow for more consistency when called upon. Consistently mediocre, maybe, but that's better than sometimes mediocre and sometimes much worse.
