with so many new players we don't really know

If those weaknesses actually are the weaknesses.

For example size is a weakness if the freshmen bigs don't show that they can play a combined 20 minutes a game.
Outside shooting could be a problem. CVL & Hughes were both advertised as shooters when Mizzou recruited them. If they shoot well and 1 other player joins them that's not a weakness.
