I think Barry inherited more than most.
a. The D was good
b. The OL wasn't
There is valid questioning the obvious disruption of a defense Odom knew well.
That side of the ball should come back quickly with the change back to a DB at nickel, and some more work on the DL rotations.
The O is the work in progress. I see that developing slowly, but wven there, some improvement over last year aleady. A lot of real goodcwork was messed up by some tactical errors and mistakes that should come along.
People have a right to discuss.
This year isn't over, but unforced errors are galling. I'll bet some good coaching & player efforts will lead to improvements.
WV was middle-tough. Next game, not so tough? It Will be the game that is, so let's see how the team roars back.
