My predictions

Alabama A&M (1-0)- as you said, a gimme to start the season

Xavier (1-1)- No chance. They have a very good coach and talent. Expect to be down 15-20 at half.

Clemson or Davidson (1-2)- No chance if it's Clemson. They are a borderline NCAA team this year. McKillop is to good a coach at Davidson. They will hit 15 3-pointers and win by about 8.

Unknown- (2-2). Probably Tulane. They will be more athletic but we should win by a few.

Northwestern St.- (3-2) A really horrible opponent.

NC Central- (4-2) see above.

Western Kentucky (5-2)- This may be one of our best wins under KA. Just a hunch. The Hilltoppers are good but we win in a squeaker.

Miami (OH)- (6-2)- This is a poor Miami team.

Arizona (6-3)- Biggest crowd of the season sees Mizzou stay close in the first half then fall by 22.

Eastern Illinois (7-3)- Tigers come out flat but win by 4.

Illinois- (7-4)- Illini win by 12 in he worst attended Bragging Rights game ever.

Lipscomb (8-4)- Tigers play their best game and win by 28.

LSU (9-4)- Mizzou again overcomes an incredible talent difference to beat the worst bench-coach (or at least tied for the worst) in the SEC

At Georgia (9-5)- In their first true road game of the year, the Tigers fall 82-54.

Auburn- (9-6)- Auburn pulls away in last two minutes for a 4 point victory.

At Arkansas (9-7)- Mizzou falls behind 27-6 and comes back late to lose only by 13.

At Alabama (9-8)- Non-competitive game. Alabama wins by 20. Rumblings are heavy.

Mississippi- (9-9)- Mizzou loses in overtime on a controversial call after we lose two players to suspension prior to the game.

At Miss St. (9-10)-Mizzou will not win an away game all year but is competitive with three players suspended. We lose in overtime for the second game in a row as Miss St scores the final 12 points of the game.

South Carolina (10-10)- Tigers are down 10 at half, but launch a great comeback and win by 7.

At Florida (10-11). Gators take an 18-3 lead and coast to an 88-54 win. Anderson begins calling out players for effort problems.

Arkansas (10-12). Mizzou makes a valiant effort after losing to the Razorbacks by about 40 at home the year before but loses on a tip-in at the buzzer, which is reviewed for 10 minutes and appears to be after the buzzer, but is not overturned. One player leaves the program following the game.

At Texas A&M (10-13)- Mizzou races to an improbable 26-12 lead, inspiring uneducated SEC commentators to constantly say that KA has Mizzou "headed in a great direction". Alas, the Tigers lose 80-68.

Vanderbilt (10-14)- Mizzou comes out flat, scoring only 18 in the first half in a 60-47 loss. Two players are Suspended for this game.

Alabama (11-14)- Mizzou bounces back with a resoundingly easy victory in front a 3,876 fans. Tigers hit 13-25 three-pointers and win 80-68.

At Tennessee (11-15)- Worst performance of the season. Tigers fall flat in a 78-46 defeat. Mizzou AD issues announcement that the coaching staff will be "evaluated at the end of the season."

Kentucky (11-16)- Calipari's somewhat disappointing season is jump-started back to life with a 103-69 win at Mizzou Arena.

At Ole Miss (11-17)- With a player suspended, Mizzou plays hard in the first half, trailing by only 2 at half, but an 18-2 run in the second half seals the deal by the Rebels.

Texas A&M (12-17)- Mizzou inexplicably beats A&M 68-64 in front a 3,743 fans despite being 11 point underdogs at home.

At Auburn (12-18)- KA says before the game that's he "feels like we might be ready to make a run". Tigers fall 78-68 despite leading by 5 with ten minutes remaining. "We are really close," we are told.

SEC Tournament- (13-18) #14 seed Missouri knocks out #11 seed Vanderbilt 62-60 when a Commodore player fouls Cullen Van Leer on a three-point attempt with 8 seconds left and the game tied. CVL hits two of three and a Vandy shot rims out at the end.

SEC Tournament (13-19) #14 seed Mizzou falls to #6 seed Georgia 80-58. The Tigers trail 42-21 at half.
