Illinois was devastated by injuries last year. Missing three starters when they played Missouri. All are back plus the freshmen who were forced into big playing time gives this team much more depth than a year ago. Lost Nunn but Jalen Coleman-Lands is a prolific shooter in his place. Malcolm Hill is going to have a big year, too. Averaged 18 last year but has reshaped his body and added 5 inches to his vertical jump.

It would be disappointing to lose to Missouri but, as you know, records mean little in this series.
