at least be intelligent enough to understand the facts at hand.
The sun strikes the Earth with about 44 quadrillion joules of energy each year per square mile. There being about 196 million square miles of surface area that equates to about 9 X 10^24 joules of energy we get from the sun every year. Compare that to the total energy output of man which is about 110,00 terra watts per year or about 4 x 10^9 joules.
Do the math and the Earth gets roughly 3,000,000,000,000,000 times more energy from the sun as that produced by man. So how much impact is man actually having on our climate? A single sunspot at the right time will have vastly more impact on our climate that man ever could.
Do the math yourself if you question my numbers but man's energy impact on the Earth is almost nonexistent.
