My lines? Ahem, the link I posted was a breakdown of energy use from the department of energy. Coal is 33% of energy generation.

Hydropower is at 6%, and it's not going to get any bigger. No one builds dams in the US anymore.

So, to shrink coal (eliminate it) you have natural gas, nukes, wind , solar. Natural gas has already reduced coal by 12%, nearly double the entire output of wind,solar combined.

Yet, you pompously , smugly seek to sacrifice for the future?

No, you just want to waste money to make yourself feel better, not solve the actual problem.
