and that is a clear example of irrationality.

Another would be his idea that there is no God.

Another is that there are "natural rights" that all human beings are entitled to, over and above any "rights" enjoyed by all other animals, in the absence of any God.

If someone felt that it would be a good idea to run across a busy highway without looking because it would give them a big adrenaline rush I would still consider that an irrational idea even if I didn't know for a fact that it would end in catastrophe. It's just a stupid thing to do.
