I'm not expecting Phillips to be Ulis

Just don't buy the physicality argument. Ulis was a stud in the SEC at the same size that Phillips is.
Ulis is a way more polished offensive player. Though Phillips shots the ball great in Italy, so he seems to have put in a ton of work.
Flip was an incredible interior passer, Phillips is ok at that, but not great
What Phillips does do great for a guard is rebound. He averaged over 4 a game last year. His assist numbers last year were deceiving, he would have averaged probably 2-3 more a game if his teammates could hit shots.
