I would argue that Tiger AD is locked into having to maximize its revenue in order to stay competitive in the SEC and to fund its entire sports program. Football has more revenue potential than basketball. Therefore, football gets first priority on resources and, if necessary, basketball is shortchanged. That means no high dollar basketball coach.
