Interesting choice, since she will have to sit out a year for transferring to an SEC school and won't be able to play for them until 2018. I know she wanted to be closer to her family in Georgia. But could have chosen, say, Clemson and played right away. I liked her here, thought if she had been able to get consistent at bats she would have grown into a very good hitter. She just never got over the hump though to produce what was needed to start. Sort of like Sarah Moore, who ended up having a very good career at Cal State Fullerton. Hope Morgan does well at South Carolina, just not against us.
Nice though to see the kind words she had towards EE and the rest of the great softball coaching staff here at Mizzou.
