The SEC would be wise

The SEC would be wise to consider UT's history. They basically had hands in destroying the SWC and the Big 12.

UT has a great athletics program, is situated in a large metro area and has a large statewide and nationwide following. Could be very tempting for a conference.

Would the SEC be willing to make a deal with the devil? Would UT want to be in a conference it can't "control" outright?

I doubt both of those things.
