If this was a program where his firing wasn't imminent I have to imagine he doesn't leave. But he made the smart move for himself and his family and jumped off the sinking ship. We are at that level with our program where going down to a mid-major is seen as a better option. There was a time where losing an assistant to SLU would have been unthinkable unless it was for a boatload more money or a promotion in level. But not anymore.
