J3, Clark, Wright, Gant and Teki are a good team on paper.

If you base it on recruiting rankings.

But from all available evidence, those five are not the core to a winning program.

Maybe they will become those types of players someday, but they weren't when KA had them.

More important than those five, though, is how the rest of the roster looked. Clark, Gant and Wright are all role players at best. J3 may be more than that. Same for Teki. The rest of what he started with were non-factors.
