important as recruiting during a transition. Successful coaches keep players they inherit. Would Mike Anderson have been near as successful had he not kept Leo and Matt Lawrence around? Would Quin have been as successful if he didn't keep Dooling, Gilbert, and Grawer around? If Frank Haith hadn't kept Phil and Bowers around for year 2, he would have likely won far fewer games his 2nd year.
