Using that metric, Adam Wolf was our best player last year....Yeah, I think I'll stick with saying it's retarded to take players stats and blindly extrapolate them over 40 minutes.
Please don't take this a personal attack - I do think that you're one of the better posters that somewhat supports KA, however I think this approach lacks critical reasoning (i.e. TP fouled too much - there's no way he could ever play 40 mpg - he was pretty close to maxed out on minutes in most games; "fresh" players may be more productive than guys that are logging 35 mpg - your best players.)
As a general rule, a bb coach is going to play his BEST players, there is no need to extrapolate NEP to a 40 minute time-frame.
