glove award winner. That means he was the best defensive player in the game during those years. Johnny Bench was a career .267 hitter for instance.

Johnny Bench and Yadi are the two best all around catchers I have ever seen. Pudge Rodriguez was damn good as well but I would still take Yadi for his defensive ability, leadership ability, and rings.

Molina is definitely a top 5 defensive catcher of all time. Is he a top 5 all around catcher of all time who knows.
