Better leadership finally with George as the AD. The conference affiliation just allowed a lot more of our fanbase, which is based out west, to have more to do with the University. Conference affiliation got us resources academically that we never had with the Big XII so academically, it was a big windfall to change. Athletically, donations were up due to access to bigger donors out west and of course George as our new AD. He's really got things going and our facilities are now top notch for both football and basketball. Things will turn around soon enough in football and we're about to have our best season ever in basketball.

Leaving for the Big XII would lose a ton of momentum for us.
