Excellent points. The Paige Lowary bashing by several people on this board has been an embarrassment. I can only imagine what her family would feel if they saw the things being posted by supposedly grown men who feel betrayed because a few players finally decided that the verbal abuse had to stop. As you said, the players don't owe the fans anything and the idea that Paige and others were supposed to tolerate their treatment out of "loyalty" to the program is ridiculous. If I ever heard of anyone abusing my child, either verbally or physically, a Title IX investigation would be the least of their problems. If Ray Kinsella were a Baylor fan he would probably consider the victims of sexual attacks by some of the football players disloyal to the university for reporting it. After all, Art Biles was the most successful coach in the history of their football program. His record alone should make all other considerations secondary. That seems to be a common theme on this site. Thanks for the great post. It's nice to see others have had enough of the sick character assassination being posted against a player that decided she no longer wanted any part of an abusive environment. I hope she has a great career at OU and think she deserves a lot of credit for her two years at Mizzou.
