probably 15 or 20 years or so ago from a guy from kansas*.
He had been on a trip that included at least a stop in Missouri. I believe that it was something like a float trip or swimming in a float stream.
He was quite distraught that when he came back to his car some hours later he discovered that someone had snapped off the antenna on his car and impaled a cat on it. Not sure if the cat was dead before the impaling, but hopefully so.
He said that because of the crazies it wasn't safe to park in Missouri with a kU* bumper sticker * kansas* plates on your car.
