He was doing a ku game back in the late 60s when Bobby Douglass was ku QB. Douglass had a habit of kicking his leg back to start a drop just before the snap. It was fine, unless there was also a man in motion. He kept flagging him for illegal procedure. After the 3rd one, Douglass said, "Hey ref, what the fugg is that?"
Uncle, who didnt tolerate cursing on the field, said, "well, Bobby, that was 5, and this is 15." Pepper Rogers of course wanted to know why, and he was told.
