use language like "around the max" so you have a fall back and not admit you are wrong; which you are constantly.

In the context of talking the maximum expected suspension, 8 games versus 6 is quite a gap and I wouldn't consider 6 being around 8.

Another example...zero games vs 6 is huge!!! Or let's say even 1-3 games versus 6 games is massive.

You certainly are consistent in doing everything you can to just not admit you just might be wrong.
