Spending is indeed a big problem

I would like to see a nice comparison of what components of spending have increased, maybe over a 5 year time period and an explanation of why the changes occurred.

For example, I would like to see the effects of Biden's Social Security Fairness Act he signed on his way out the door and see how that has effected SS payments. I know a relative that just last month started to receive additional benefits and back benefits to 1/1/24 as allowed by the bill. That could certainly be something effecting recent federal outlays.
