makes zero sense that he comes back next season UNLESS he has a huge breakout football season.
I also question whether Horn really thinks he will be back next season because if he did why sign as a 17th round draft choice this year and not wait until next draft?
I think the Dodgers are fine with Horn playing this season as it's really too late in the year for him to get much work in with them, but I can't believe they would be willing to pay the guy $500,000 to miss spring training (if he decided to participate in spring football) and not be available again next season.
To me it just doesn't make sense because of the timing of it and the $500,000 the Dodgers paid him.
Again, all conjecture by me at this point.
