The article details how spending can be cut, and why (the US government has no business being in the "social securty" or healthcare business and it does a **** poor job at both). What caught my eye were the proposals to fix a hopelessly broken budget process. Personally, I think disbanding the utterly worthless CBO would be a start. But the author suggested eliminating the debt ceiling (which is a charade), and repealing the Wilsonian-era Second Liberty Bond Act (which would negate the need for a debt ceiling.
