My father attneded medical school at Mizzou and was president of the medical school alumni association one year. He began buying season tickets in 1958 when I was 5 because a fellow Springfield, MO physician was a fan and frends with coaches Faurot, Devine, Onofrio, and Cooper. Here is a tidbit you may not know about the history of a mid-Missouri area including Columbia, "Little Dixie," for more proof that we DO belong in the SEC:
