Mentioned how shocked they were at homeless population in COMO??? I haven't been back since 2021, but I don't recall seeing much of it..arrived on GameDay, went to the game and downtown, stayed off of Lake of the Woods, at a hotel on 70. This recruit did not choose Mizzou..., I have no idea how bad it was, but 2 friends that live there texted back, and said it's down right ridiculous, and has really gone downhill in the last year. Campus area is fine, but it is a serious issue for residents. I had no idea, but haven't seen any publicity about the issue. Is it THAT bad? Or just more visible in the summer or what? Any COMO locals have an opinion? I'd like to know the real deal? I can understand someone choosing a different school for a myriad of reasons, but a city overrun with homeless people shouldn't be one of them.
