donald trump. If he went to the beach for 3 1/2 years and then retired, he would have a great presidency.
But the epstein thing in my opinion has been bungled. I've always told people who worked for me they must MANAGE EXPECTATIONS of their clients.
Pam Blondy certainly didn't do that when she said the files were on her desk.
Walking that back isn't working. She looks like just another swamp rat with her evasions and obfuscations.
I am not calling for her dismissal or even any punishment at this time. She has, imo done well with other duties of the AG.
And it is not for trump to ask rhetorically in a press conference "are you still asking about that? The american people aren't interested in that."
The bottom line for me is that this is an administration that so far has done wonderful things with the border, the economy the military and the nation's morale.
But i've made the analogy that the 1927 yankees who are considered by some to be the greatest team of all time, lost 44 games in 1927. If memory serves they were even shut out on occasion and lost a double header that year.
Maybe the best team ever. But they lost 44 times and sometimes looked bad doing it.
Trump won't go undefeated and he may get swept in a double header now and then over the next 3 1/2 years.
We should bltch about the epstein thing. We should continue to ask questions and demand answers. But that should not describe the trump administration.
