I will applaud when government does something I like, it doesn't imply I'm glad it has the power to do so.

Would you like me to caveat that every time for you like this:

"I'm glad the US government is enforcing the US borders and deporting illegal entrants...but I wish it were a state responsibility, as intended by the Constitution".
