So Simmons was more dominant in their best years.

WAR avg per year, Perez 3.4 and Simmons 3.3.

So similar players on a per year basis, but Perez lacks the longevity and I think it's fair to expect that IF Perez plays 5 more years (till age 40) his WAR will drop.
