Yadi is 22nd in career catcher WAR

Salvy is 31st

If Salvy plays 2-3 more years and bats well while DHing, he could end up top 25 in WAR

FWIW, Buster Posey has a higher career WAR than both Salvy and Yadi. Is Buster Posey a HOF catcher?

Jorge Posada also has a higher WAR than Yadi or Salvy, and he's not in.

But a lot goes into grading catchers beyond the raw stats
