and I think he believed Trump wanted that as well.

He saw DOGE as being the number one thing that should be done, and the biggest impact.

Trump, and Congress did not at all, so I think Elon feels much of his work was a waste, and it will have limited impact for things he gets involved with.

Then it escalated a bit and got personal, and he fought back some.
