y wore out their bro lovefest and it ended a little abrasively. They will remain mostly aligned and Elon will, as he's stated, back away from political contributions and direct involvement.

Elon is likely disappointed that Trump didn't go full bore on cutting and Trump is likely disappointed that Elon is a bit naive about DC reality and the role of Congress. Trump has a LOT of agenda items other than deficit reduction.
