One pitcher improved this past season in McCann. Harrison declined or at a minimum was not consistent. Pannel somewhat held her own. Losing Crenshaw is huge from both an offensive aspect and a defensive aspect. So going into the season with either Abruscsto catching (which seems unlikely) or a Freshman is a total gamble unless the Portal can come up with a quality transfer. Hopefully Larissa Anderson schedules some cupcake games so we can at least be at .500 and have a chance to make the NCAA tournament. Otherwise, it’s gonna be another long season.
